i have been burning dvd's for a while so i know what im doing but there is one thing i cant get straight

most movies have audio streams listed like this

ac/5.1
ac2
ac2

i take off 5.1 because i dont have surround sound and its hug . but when i pick ac/2 half the time i pick the directors commentary and not the movie audio so then i burn it and i have a movie with just the director talking. is there any way to test all the streams to see which one is the directors commentary before i burn i have wasted like 10 dvds alread and it usually doesbt say directors commentary underneath them so that is how i screw it up and when i play the movie in shrink before i burn it sounds right but i cant tell which stream it is using please help

I usually get teh 5.1 since it will automatically downgrade if you don't have surround.

The way to test them is with the small mini screen on the bottom left corner. Play the movie and right click and they will let you preview the audio.
