Well I have a question. Is there any way to mod my ps2 HDD so it can be detected as a memory card. I mean I know that i can transfer files im not using to the HDD but I want to know if theirs like any way it can be used as the memory card. So say im playing a game, my saves and loads atomaticlly go to the hdd and etc. FOr all games mostly. SOme games like ESPN 2K5 have HDD support. I want to know if i can mod the ps2 so all games can have ps2 supports. please help me asap

Yes, but not easily at all, the game save function is a dedicated IRQ directly to the mc0 and mc1 slots you'd have to hack the bios and rewrite the interrupt commands and with the size of the memory onboard IF you did manage to do that, you'd not be able to access the memory cards again. with the time and headach it would take to do that you'd be time and $$$ ahead to just buy a much larger memory card.

the larger memory card? it's the most practical, or multiple 8 Meg ones. myself I've never had a need for anything larger then an 8 Meg and I've got 431 PS2 games.

Wow man. 431 PS2 games. You're a real spender. But I'm guessing you only play about half (or less) than all those games you got. I only have about 34 games currently.

very few get played more then once. there are a few of the series that I'm particularly found of and i play them often (metal gear/devil may cry) but most are played once and then put away. i have started to wonder why i bother with the Final Fantasy series any longer, it used to be a favorite of mine but it's went to hell in a hand basket sense it came to the PS2.

comparatively speaking though I've got less then half the number of games a few of my friends have, one gets every game he has access to even if he knows he'll never play it.
