I just downloaded a movie and it's in .rar format. haven't dealt with this type before and was wonderin fanyone can tell me 1) What it is? 2)What I need to view it? 3) How do I burn it to play on a DVD player with DVD media?

File size is 698.73mb
Starts out like:
"moviename".nfo.bc
"moviename".r00.bc
"moviename".r01.bc all the way up to .r47.bc
"moviename".rar.bc
"moviename".sfv.bc

Not sure what other info. I can provide. I have Nero Express 2, VCDgear 3.55, IFOedit and TMPGEnc on my computer if these programs help.

Thanks

I think the .bc means it is not completed. If you downloaded it from a torrent site. So either it was nuked or you didnt get it all the way downloaded.

After it is completed the .bc should disapear ("moviename".r00) once it does run WinRAR and extract the files choosing the first file.

"moviename".r00.bc <--- first file
"moviename".r01.bc

It then will unzip all the rest of the RAR files and make 1 full image file.

Edit Below:
Try to run the "moviename".sfv.bc file and it should scan the torrent (RAR FILES) and tell you what RAR file is not completed. At this point you can try downloading that RAR file.

a .bc file is an incomplete BitComet file. When it is finished downloading, the extension will most likely be removed and you will be left with the .rXX files. These are like .zip files and can be extracted using WinRAR which can be downloaded for free. After you have extracted the files, you should be left with something you can watch/burn/etc.
