I recently went to play a divx file using XBMP but when I turned on my xbox I did not have the usual options; play movie, xbmp, chage skins, etc. Now I have the options to go to ms Dash, reboot, settings and power off. I was using the evox_slayer dash.
Any idea what went wrong and how I can fix it? and if I re3do the slayer dash will it affect my game saves.
At the moment I can still play games but not movies not retail or divx stuff, please help.
Thanks for the quick reply tocool4u. I didn't touch ANYTHING. I had been playing Ninja Gadien for a few days now and it had been in the drive, when I put in the dvix disk an dwhen I turned on the TV to set XBMP running I was faced with the limited options (M$ dash, Settings, Reboot Power Off) and not teh usual ones.
I tried the Ninja gadien disk and it works fine, movies and teh like wont play. I am a total Noob atg this so I dont even know what the APPS folder is.
Can I download the slayer dash again and reinstall it without having to format the HD (retail one), I have too many game saves I dont want to loose, and am unsure about backing it up.
