I used AnyDVD and CloneDVD w/o a hitch. Can't remember if this one had anything special on it or not though. Is your AnyDVD up to date - 5.9.4.1?
You can also try the ripper in this version of AnyDVD - right click on the red fox and pick 'rip video-dvd to hard drive' then process those files thru shrink.

Or you can also try ripping w/ dvdfab decrypter (have AnyDVD off) then process those files thru shrink.

I too had no problem with this one and AnyDVD and Clone, even did a dual layer using Clone. Try cleaning the disk, you may have a bad one.

Forget it, take the movie back and tell them it's scratched or doesn't play. Get a replacement and use that. Some movies have a bad sector which no matter what you do, cannot be corrected. I just have the store replace the movie for me and I am fine.

Have to give you credit for trying. I guess in a way, I sometimes like to see if I can try anything to make it work. Keep us in the loop.

Download VobBlanker from here

http://jsoto.posunplugged.com/

Program is a zip just extract the files to a folder. Run the program and just do these three steps

After you have completed the VB process open Shrink and then just browse the the folder you created for the VB output files, open the folder.

The latest AnyDVD and Shrink did this for me without any issues. I burned it with Decryptor.

Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

@buckscrap
So you got the files ripped from vobblanker and shrink is locking up?
Is your AnyDVD up to date - 5.9.4.1?
Some reasons shrink can lock up is it can't handle the protection or your pc is overheating. Shrink is pretty cpu intensive so make sure there's plenty of airflow, fans are clean and no multitasking.
