and thats where im stuck, for some reason i can't go online through my dashboard, so like i can't get a connection from my xbox through my PC(ftp), any other suggestions? i don't think i can do the hotswap or whatever its called cuz i don't have a torx screwdriver

like, everything use to work before, i meen i was able to ftp through my web browser with using FlashFXP, like i was able to just go to internet explorer and just type my xbox's IP in and it would bring up the hard drive, and thats how i put my modded maps on there. Then my accnt was banned from halo 2, so i stopped playing xbox live for a couple months, and then when i got a free 2-month membership, and a new headset, i decided to start playing again, and now when i try to ftp, it won't connect, and i can't make my new account :(

if you cant make it works, then you have to burn ms dash to CD.

i don't have a dvd burner, can i just use a regular cd-r? actually i don't even know if that will work cuz i have an older model xbox that don't play burnt cd's cuz i remember i burnt a CD off my computer one time to copy to my hard drive on my xbox, and it couldn't read it, but all my other cd players could in my house, so i dont know, pelase let me know if you come up with anything else, im almost to the point of just trashing my xbox, i can't think of anything else to do to fix this problem

also, whats the memory on a memory card? cuz the dash i downloaded is like 80mb (it says its the original xbox ms dash)

darn, hmm, i think im gonna go fool with my settings to try and get ftp to work, cuz i REALLY don't wanna hotswap, that seems too risky to do, and not to mention i don't have the proper tools lol. If you come up with anything else, please let me know.

im on a wireless router, and ftp won't work for anything, i've seriously tried everything....my friend brought his xbox over so i can borrow it, so thats what i have been playing today and yesterday, but i dunno when he will want it back, so i wanna get mine workin again
