Can't burn "Brothers Grimm"

Is there a new copy protect on the DVD The Brothers Grimm? I tried copying using AnyDVD and ShrinkDVD 3.2 and got the following error: "DVDShrink has encountered an error an cannot continue. Failed to read file "D:\" Data error (cyclic redundancy check)". I then tried using DVD X Copy Express and got the following error: "Error occured reading sectors Data = 1/0". This same error occured using DVD X Copy Platinum. Any suggestions?

Since you are using the Updated AnyDVD and got that error then your disk probably has a bad scratch . You can try cleaning the disk real well and try again. You might also try ripping that disk to HD using DVDFAB Decrypter and then process it w/ Shrink

I used two separate discs, both perfect (no scratches, prints, mars, etc.) with the same results. I'll try using DVD Decryter. Thanks for the advice.

If the updated version of AnyDVD will not work dvddecrypter will never work. I have done that movie with AnyDVD and dvdshrink. Your problems lie elsewhere. Maybe be not a scratch but a bad press.

I tried using DVD Decrypter by saving to a file on my HD. When I tried to burn that file to DVD, an error appeared. I tried two separate copies of Brothers Grimm with the same results. Can anybody help?

If you ripped the movie in File Mode using DVDDecrypter then you will need to run the files through VobBlanker next and then through Shrink to compress the files to fit on a DVD-5. If you want to do the movie to a D/L disk then you will need DVDDecrypter( the setup will be a little different) and AnyDVD. Which way did you try it

VobBlanker( short version explanation) is a program that will correct the structural problems w/ the DVD. W/ the new encryptions they are trying to throw a curve by adding meaningless crap to the DVD Movie. You can remove this w/ VobBlanker. Here is a guide one of the members at AD did: It does use DVDFAB Decrypter to rip to HD and you can substitute instead of Nero you can use Shrink
