OK I've downloaded the latest version of DVD Fab Decrypter and I get the following error: "Get DVD information Fail. 4096." What does his mean? I'm trying to copy Madagascar. I've tried other DVDs and get the same message. I usually use DVD Decrypter and Shrink but I got an error message from Shrink. Thanks in advance.

If you have the latest version from DVDFAB Decrypter (2.9.7.3), then it should be able to rip "Madagascar" flawlessly.

Out of curiosity, did you first "uninstalled" the prior version of DVDFAB Decrypter, then re-install the latest version? or did you just installed the latest over the old one?

It is recommend to always completely uninstall the older version first, then install the newer version. This is how I've always done and I've never ever ran into any issues whatsoever. So far DVDFAB Decrypter has "never" let me down.

Follow alkohol's advice - dvdfab decrypter will handle this one.
I have run into this error a couple of times w/ dvdfab decrypter.
The error means that dvdfab decrypter can't read that part (crc error).
Try cleaning off the disc. Or try and rip from another drive. That did the trick for me. But you may have a bad press.
If all fails then you'll probably need to exchange it for a new one.
