My DVD of SM 3.3 has stopped reading the disk, when it boots it looks like the CD version ie: gives you a choice of Memory Card or Disc, but if I try it it just keeps coming back tothe same screen. Now granted it has a lot of scrathes on it, but I tried it on a front loading PS2 (mine's a slimline) and it worked ok. Is there anything I can do or do I have to cut my losses & buy another set?

Tried that mate with a cotton bud, and also a CD lens cleaner. My PS2 will boot originals & from SM CD.

ok, what version of swap magic do you have? You might be able to do a toc refresh with the cd and load backup dvd games.
