only good thing about downloading the entire dvd is you dont have to save nothing to HD just read original ask to put in a blank dvd then it burns to it...guess if i want certain parts out of the dvd then i have to save to HD then burn...

If you are using Shrink to do your DVD you still will have to save it on your HDD first before burning. The only time you do not have to save it on your HDD, at least temporarily, is if you burn "on the fly". Which is direct disk to disk. All programs save it on the HDD either permanently or temporarily.

Folow the guide for using Start and End Frames then hit backup, choose what you want to do whether it is rip to your HDD, create iso image on HDD, iso image burn with Decrypter or if you have enable burning with Nero set you can just burn with that. How have you done this in the past it is the same process only you are just ripping a segment instead of the whole disk. If you want to only put one episode on a disk then you can just do the process the same as always. If you want to put more than one on a disk then you have to save each ripped episode seperately to your HDD and then join them. and have Shrink do the process again and then use whatever program you use to burn.

ok the program I usually use to burn is 1 click dvd. This program will only let me burn a entire dvd thats why I was wanting to use shrink dvd so I could do certain episodes.....so what choice do i pick if i want to take say 6 or 7 episodes off a dvd and burn them to a blank DVD-R what would that be is that a iso image from HD that what i choose....Im familiar with 1 click dvd copy but thats about it sorry for all the ?? So Im still burn this with my 1 click dvd copy or I will burn with the shrink dvd or does this just let me save diff episodes to my HD only...might have a thing on my 1 click dvd copy when it comes up i can select a drive or location im buring from might be the way I do it.....If I dont burn using the shrink.

If you want another burning and ripping sw then dl DVD Decrypter it will burn iso files and will integrate with Shrink, go here and dl. It is DVD Decrypter not DVDFab Decrypter that program is just a ripper.
http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/software.htm
Then use Shrink and rip the episodes you want using Start and End Frames to your HDD. Put each one in a seperate folder on the HDD. You will use these setting in Shrink when you hit the backup button.
Remember to change the target folder for each episode you rip, in the example it is C:/Movies. Use the browse button to change it to a different folder for each episode. These are what you will use to create your compilation.
After you have completed ripping the episodes you want, follow the guide that I gave you above on doing an episode disk using Shrink. You will creat an iso file and then DVD Decrypter will burn this file. Make sure to pay close attention to your Target setting when you hit the backup screen as you will have to change them to iso and burn with decrypter.
