Does the american NTSC version work on a PAL system with Swap Magic 3.6? My TV only supports 60Hz, so for NTSC games, I have to change the option to PAL. However, some games (such as FFXII demo) freeze on FMVs. So my question is does KHII freeze? I have tried it once, and it froze, but that could be because of my PS2 getting quite old. Also, the Y position was way out. Any way to fix this in-game or with SW3.6? Or is there a way to rebuild KHII (as an ISO) that will fix all these problems?

I tried this game on hd advance 3.0. It worked fine until i got to the gumi ship, and than it shows the black screen of death.

Right, well I've tried it out now. It works, but the Y position leaves a massive black border at the bottom. On my portable TV, it's ok as it only cuts a very small part at the top, so that you don't miss anything, and you can read whatever is supposed to be at the top (eg. an information bar). The only problem is FMVs. On my PS2, they keep jumping a bit, and has frozen once, so I instantly press X so that it skips it so it doesn't freeze. It might just be my PS2, I don't know. Someone else would have to test it. Other than all that, it's perfectly fine, and a great game.

It will do that because PAL has unstable thingymagics which cause it do not be supported which cause the black thing at the bottom.

lol, PAL isn't unstable. It's just a different format. The black border is caused by NTSC and PAL having a different number of lines per frame.
