I got this fliptop cover that was designed for the slim ps2. It was also bundled with Swap Magic 3.6

However, when I read in the online instructions that involve taking the top half of the ps2 off so the fliptop can be placed, I got very concerned here. There's a warranty sticker on the back of the console that has the top and bottom bound together. Usually I don't like the idea of voiding the warranty, but is that kind of thing inevitable when putting a fliptop cover on?

You HAVE to void the warrenty to install the fliptop, to avoid this, but Magic Keys for the slimline.
