hi, i'm a newbee...
trying to copy my collection of 'friends', they're new and double sided, how do i put 1 double sided disk onto one sided 4.7gb dvd?? is it poss???
also, is it poss to put a few cd's of a seried onto one disc??

Rip both sides of the DVD to your HDD and then follow this guide to put them both on the same disc:

For your CDs to DVD, you can use Nero Vision to import the movies from your CDs and burn them onro one DVD

I would suggest putting two discs onto one. The compression rate will be horrendous and the quality of the picture will be worse.

But if you're hell bent on this, what cyprusrom said will work.

If you use the all quality settings, deep analysis and stuff, you should be okay. LOTR, which is 3 hours, almost like a double dvd, came out okay and it needed to be compreesed to about 50%.
