redsoxvin,
Are you using Shrink to compress the movie. If so below is a guide:

redsoxvin,
Here is the order you use the program:

Use DVDDecrypter or DVDFAB Decrypter to rip the DVD to HD. DVDFAB Decrypter is updated and it is the preferred ripper now as DVDDecrypter will not longer be updated.

The you start DVDShrink and find the files that DVDFAB or DVDD ripped to HD. You click on them and then analysis starts.

Did you read the guide? Unless you are doing a DVD that the total size is under 4.3 gb then DVDD will not be able yo write to that disk and this is why you need DVDShrink

redsoxvin,
If you are going to be doing some of the newer DVD then here is another guide for you to use as you will probably need it.

Alkohol's guide:

You can substitute Shrink for Recode

You can also try the 21 day free trial of AnyDVD

If you are having no problems with DVDFab Decrypter and DVD Shrink backing up your movie then there is no need for the other programs. If you start getting errors then try the others out :)
