Can't get the directors commentary off when using DVD Decrypter... have tried all audio options 2ch, 6ch, etc. this is not the fix.
Tried using DVDShrink and DVDCopy4, both get rid of the directors commentary, but break the movie up into multiple parts/files... I'm trying to get this movie onto my PSP or iPod, and don't know how to convert multiple files using Videora pspvideo9 and/or ipod converter???
I like DVD Decrypter b/c it copies the movie into one file that I can convert w/ Videora... is there any easier way or simple fix for my problem?
I am not sure of what you are referring to when you say it is broken up. It sounds like you have the normal VOB files. Here is a program that will convert to mobile and has a free 21 day trial, you can remove what you do not want and the program will convert to IPOD.
I meant multiple .VOB files... usually when I use DVDdecrypter it creates a single .VOB file to convert (using Videora) and that's all there is to it.
These other programs (shrink, clonedvd2) create multiple .VOB files, when I convert one of them (using Videora) it creates a 15-20 minute MPEG4 clip, not the entire movie...
I want to know if it's possible to get rid of the directors commentary but create just one .VOB file to convert using any program? Or what can I do with the multiple .VOB files to recreate the movie in it's entirety on my iPod or PSP?
If you rip in Decrypter in File mode you will have a audio and video file, the audio file will be empty but the video file will have several VTS files in it. If you rip in iso read mode you will have one file an iso and a small mds file. When you reauthor your file in Shrink and remove the Directors comments, do you then output your file in iso format, or Video format. If iso then then all you will have is one big file, if Video you will then have multiple files.
All for naught though, I used DVD Clone Mobile and it worked perfectly (got rid of the directors commentary)... still curious as to how and why the process described above didn't work though? Not excited about dropping more money on programs, but from reading the forum slysoft seems to put out quality products.
Thanks again for your help arniebear... GREATLY appreciated!
You are welcome, glad it worked for you, I agree on putting out money for software if not necessary. But, I also agree on slysoft making quality products. I own several of their products and am contemplating a video IPOD to replace my 40g regular IPOD, and believe me I will also put out the money for this slysoft program. Good luck to ya, and happy burning :)
