I was wondering if there is software to change brightness of contrast of
an Avi or Mpg file. I have some avi files that are good quality but dark, my Phillips 642 lets me change the brightness, contrast ect. but I was wondering if there is a way to do it with software?

Maybe Movkit video converter can help you fix the problem.
It can let user adjust the brightness and contrast.
