Ok, when I try to write and burn a dvd onto clone dvd that I recorded from my PANASONIC dmr-es40v dvd vcr combo , It only records the first 3 mins and then makes image and then burns ...
when I play it back, the first 3 minutes come out and then whatever was on my drive before is on the remaining disc!!!
I am using an external drive sony thru my notebook computer
any other dvds that I make are fine
It just seems to be ones I made from my dvd vcr combo that cut off like this

Are you trying to burn the movie while it is playing/recording??
