Hello friends,
My computer recently crashed or whatever you want to call what it decided to do, and I lost everything. I was just wondering if you guys knew what I needed to fix to put dvd shrink back on track again because of the fact that it doesn't want to help me backup my dvd. I hope this error message helps. Thank you for reading.

V6.6.1.4 had problems when burning with shrink

Uninstall Nero - run the clean tool - then install version 6.6.0.18
Here's a link:

Here's the clean tool:

That could be part of the problem. Try disabling some of your applications that are running in the background.

You did not post an entire log file however. Could you post the rest of it?

You need to free up some memory, 512 is enough to DVD ripping but 92 free is not. Are you multitasking?

This seems like an incomplete log.

I see you guys have beat me to it... No matter, I think I have the best response and he'll decide to read mine. :]

Hey guys i'm trying to burn some DVDs that i've purchased. I'm using Video Vault and AnyDVD together. Video Vault keeps giving me an error message stating that my DVD is CSS protected and therefore can't be backed up. Maybe I'm wrong but I was under the impression that Video Vault works with AnyDVD ? Is there any thing else I can use with Video Vault to take off the CSS protection so I can burn my backup copies or did I waste $119.00 ?

goodbye

Try using the latest version of AnyDVD with DVD Shrink, the two work excellent together (DVD shrink is free).

get the latest version of AnyDVD here, version 5.9.5.2;
http://www.slysoft.com/en/download.html

get DVD Shrink here;

Here's a guide on how to use DVD Shrink to backup your DVDs;

Hi @john123. I'm getting a deadlink on the guide. Is it supposed to open adobe in the browser or the local app?

Who is that shadowy figure?

@pntyliner
The link is working properly.

It's an adobe format (.pdf file) so you need to have at least adobe reader 6.0 installed, when you click on the link it should run the adobe reader on your PC and display the guide.

Here's a link to the guide along with other's that are worth viewing;

If you need adobe reader, you can get the latest version here;
