Hello, I just got my PSP fully charged it and now I'm trying to update it to 2.0
I figured out how to plug it into my computer, and followed the directions from this thread
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/1/324864
But when I try to load the file, it acts as if it is loading a program, but then after a few seconds says "The game could not be started. (80020148)"
I have version 1.52 so what is the issue?

The folder I put it in was
G:\PSP\GAME\UPDATE_FOLDER

but I renamed it and tried G:\PSP\GAME\UPDATE FOLDER (changing the under score to a space) but still it did not work. The UPDATE_FOLDER - folder is something I had to create- but the G:\PSP\GAME\ folder existed previously.
I hope some of this info helps

heh yes that is why i changed the title of this to 'nevermind' but I was following the directions exactly and the author of that faq capitalized the word FOLDER so i kinda just assumed...

heh ahh ok thanks =)

Before I start asking dumb questions could you direct me to a faq for homebrew games? I have some in my possession already on my computer, but I'm not familiar with the process of running them or even what programs i'll need. Thanks
