Softmod copy over

I have a softmodded xbox and was showing a friend it last night. He was well impressed and asked if I could do the same to his xbox.
I bought my box like this (used of course) and don't have an action reply, memory card or in fact the games needed (splinter cell, 007 etc).
Does anyone know if I can make a complete copy of the HDD thats in my xbox using FTP and then copy all that information over to his HDD to make it work?
I can open up his xbox to get at the drive in order to do the cable swapping needed for it etc etc.

Is there any way that I can remove the drive and do a complete copy of the modded drive to the std one and then re-install the copied over one ???

Unless you can borrow a modchip. When you are done, then return it.

So I guess a investment of splinter cell and a memory stick needs to be made then huh?
Either that or buy an xecuter 2.5 or 3??

Cheers dude,
I am assuming that if I went for an X3ce I can run the xbox media centre?
I have to other questions that are not related to this topic.
1) Do you know if the linux can be modded so that the xbox media centre would work with a TFT touch screen
2)As my xbox is already softmodded would it have any odd effects if I were to add the X3ce chip?

Modchip can do anything you want. It will fix any problem of xbox.
I dont know about TFT touch screen.

MEGADEATH, you can run XBMC (XBOX Media Center) without the X3ce, you can run XBMC (XBOX Media Center) right on your softmodded xbox...

I am running XBMC on on softmod I just needed to know that I wont mess it up (xbox) by install a mod chip on an xbox that is softmodded.

I still don't know why you want to spend money for X3ce while you xbox works perfectly.

I guess the real reason for the want of an x3ce is the ease of changing the HDD to a 250gig.
Becuase I dont have the splinter cell game or a memory card I am worries that if I try and upgrade the HDD then it is not going to work. People I know have xboxs with the x2.6 and said it was a real doddle to do. I guess if I can do this swap out easily then I will stick with the softmod.
Do you know how to make the xbox boot the XBMC instead of the unleashed dashboard. So when I hit the power button it will just load that instead ??

Xbox will boot XBMC as a dashboard.
Because you have softmod, you have to know what to do. Otherwise, xbox will mess up and it won't load any dashboard.
