ok i have to dashboard i did the hotswap and i got to see all my files on my pc and i put my m$ dashboard on partiton 4 on my xbox then i pluged the ide on my xbox back then turned my xbox off and turned it back on still no dashboard what did i do worng please help

Put it in partition3.

ok so my brother said we did put it in partition 3 but we pluged the ide back to the xbox hDD and turned off the xbox and tunred it back on nothing no dashboard no nada
|

yea i have some japenese screen and the number in the left corner is different sometimes like 21 7 13 but in my m$ dash i have c d f i think and it is my dashboard when i took the files from it while ago cause i thought somthing like this would happened so it has all my info on it

note when i tune on my xbox i do see the big X then mircrosoft under it but like if i put a game in to late are somthing it goes to error screen

That is a bad ms dash file. YOu need to download another one. here it is

You have to register to download. Then unrar it.
by the way.
List what do you have in partition 3 and 4. So I can see more details

ok sorry to say this but last night my bro was putting the ide into my Xbox HDD i'm trying but it just was go in for me but ok i'm guessing my M$ is fine but you say it's probably not ok say i get another dashboard when i use xplore360 i just put the M$ dashboard in partion 3 then i plug the xbox Ide back to it's HDD then i just shut my xbox down and turn it back on?

ok last night we did it all i saw it with my very on eyes transfering to my xboxHDD then i pluged me ide back to my xbox then i turned it off then turned it back on and nother was there by the way you have MSN if so add me D2roll4atl@hotmail.com

That is why I told you to download this full ms dash. Then delete the one on partition 3 right now. Then copy the ms dash downloaded over.
