ok i have to extract the M$ dash and i see C,E and F do i just extract them sepretley then i will have to copy them to partition 3 right

Do the hotswap, open xplorer360. And let I knwo what you have in partition 3 and 4 right now?

ok i have really don't know cause i can't seem to plug my pc ide port into my xbox HDD my brother was doing it last night i can'r seem to get it and know none of the little pins are broke it's just my hands are big and the black plastick think it blocking me and i don't have a philiips screw dirve to get it off so i have to wait for my brother to get home from work then we will do it so i have to put C,E,and F all in partiton 3 right and delete the first dash board right and last night when i look in there i seen all my old softmod files is it ok to just go head and delete those so i can start out fresh

Wait do not delete the old ms dash from PC. Keep everything for backup.

Yes.
Put C to partition 3. DELETE the old ms dash in partition 3 first.
Put E to partition 4. IF folder already exist, then don't do any thing.
Dont worry about the F.

if it still not work, Delete every thing in partition 4.
Then copy the E to partition 4. I think there are only 2 folders TDATA and UDATA on E.

hey i think i deleted somthing yesterday that i was not supose to cause now when i turn on my xbox with out a game it goes straight to the error13 and the microsoft want even show up. so should i put in a game and when it reads the game the microsoft sign shows up should i do it that wait use a game when it shows up dissconect the ide are will that mess up my box even more

Also try to load new games which has LIVE like NeedforSpeed, Gosht Recon, if you have them. DO NOT BUY if you dont have. Then try to do dashupdate.
