I currently use DVD Shrink to copy dvds. However, it takes a while. Is thre any othr way to copy that will make it faster. I have CloneDVD2, but I don't like how I can't make the movie a higher compression rate than the menus adn extras like i do in Shrink.

You can just remove the extras you dont want in CloneDVD. You can try DVD Rebuilder but i dont know the speeds for that.

DVD Rebuilder will definitely give you the best quality, but if time is an issue, you probably don't want to use it. If you have Nero, use Nero Recode 2. Works just like Shrink (same author) but, in my personal experience, runs faster. However, this program will not work on copyprotected DVDs, so you have to use a program like DVD Decrypter or DVDFab to first put it on your hard drive.

What kinda speeds are you noticing with Shrink? Like what are the estimated times?

In my experience, it really depends on your computer. On mine, it usually takes about 15 minutes to process.

What are the specs on the PC? I would have to agree with WayneUSA, definitely depends on your machine. I can usually encode and burn full movies in approx. 24-27 mins.

Who is that shadowy figure?
