I would like to combine some of my sitcom series from 40 disks to 20 disks.when I bought them they came unshrunk at about 3.9 GB each.
I figure the menu will probably be an issue.
I also have a dl burner so this is an option.

I wonder why these old 1960's sitcoms are made with just 4gig.

fat 32 was the standard back then(4gig), NTFS has only come in within the last decade or so (larger than 4gig)

the dvds i have were created this year.
it seems most dvds are 7gig only the tv series put on dvd use the 4gig. they can only get about 5 episodes per dvd. why not make them 8gig and get 10 episodes. they use the 8gig for movies.
