if shrink says the file size is too big to burn, shrink it twice, shrink as normal then shrink the files that it made.

^^ Y'know, I never thought about doing that (for movies in general). Does that actually work?
Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

Yes it works, just makes for more compression though.

Anyone else find it funny that it's too big to burn? lol
Anyways, I've had to do that. It seems like alot of compression though.

adults movie are the only movies whose extras and previews are woth to copy. i usually put the main movie in one disc and the rest in another.
Nero Recode2 or Shrink using deep analysis and AEC/ fabdecrypter or anydvd running in the background/ IMGBurn to burn/main movie only mode= perfect.

Maybe try DVD Rebuilder instead of Shrink for your adult movies, I've run a few through that and the quality is superb.

I have some experience with these flicks also and this message or error your getting can be related to bad sectors. Try using AnyDVD's new ripper or VOB Blanker 2.0.1.1 (Auto Mode). If you are using AnyDVD you may even get Nero to bypass this error, I know it's made a difference for me using Nero or SHRINK.

size is to big with this type of movie sometimes due to multible angles. If you don't mind viewing just one angle you can edit out the rest.

You can also spring for some DVD-9 discs ...you won't have to get too many i imagine because all flicks aren't too big to be shrunk.

The easiest, best and free way to go is to have VobBlanker "blank" out any unwanted junks and let it (VobBlanker) process the VIDEO_TS.IFO file. Once VobBlanker is done, continue on any of your desire transcoders or encoders and the rest is history.
Best of lucks to you and happy burning!

You could probably wait til the movie is over then the shrinkage problem would have cured itself. LMAO
