Thanks. Are these MCC though or CMC? There was another thread that discusses that some Verbs are made by CMC.

They should look like this:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Unique Disc Identifier : [DVD-R:MCC 03RG20 ]
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Disc & Book Type : [DVD-R] - [DVD-R]
Manufacturer Name : [Mitsubishi Chemical Corp.]
Manufacturer ID : [MCC 03RG20 ]
Blank Disc Capacity : [2,298,496 Sectors = 4.71 GB (4.38 GiB)]
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
[ DVD Identifier - http://DVD.Identifier.CDfreaks.com ]
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

These are the regular verbatim dash 16x. The shiny should code the same.

That price look pretty steep for dash media. Usually those dash format shiny media is cheaper than regular media. Not the case here.

HP a1118x-b/athlon 64-3300+/BenQ 1650 BCDC/LG 8163B/Modded Wii/Epson-R300 and Ty Watershields!!!

In the words of the great Saugmon/Yoda ! the shiny should code the same ! I emailed verbatim about their Shiny /generic media some time ago " Topic: Technical or Product Question
Comments/Questions:
Verbatim Generic 4.7GB 8X DVD-R 100 Pack Spindle Disc - OEM
Model #: 95087
Item #: N82E16817131161
Other than cosmetics of the media & it's packaging is your generic
media
equivalent to your regular / branded -retail media ? or is it second
line
in quaility ? also what media codes are they? the Generics I mean
Thanks!- this was there reply! -It is a cosmetic difference, all Verbatim DVD media uses Azo recording
dye
and will have the MCC ID code. Happy Burning !
