@arniebear, thanks for the haeads up on the folder to Iso. It's kind of strange I can watch any backup with Iso made through Rebuilder, Decrypter, ImgTools, CloneDVD 2, Recode2 or shrink (sl only), yet if I create one with the Folder to Iso the disk is unplayable in stand alones. No big I have plenty of progs and I'm currently trying out Blindwrite for 20 days. Can Blindwrite only create Iso from Dvd in tray or is it possible to create one from folder (like i did with Clone2)? Ya know I was really impressed with CloneDVD 2's DL copy...perfect and not a pause during menu navigation or layer switch (layer switches seem non-existent with teh Denon 2200 (it has an 8 mb buffer memory) so you never see a layer switch...As much as ya pay for Denons it should be perfect. Anyways have a good weekend. After these programs create teh Iso image is it necessary to create an MDS folder for the image using Decrypter? Just wondering.
Have a good weekend

@MovieDud

I have CopyToDVD and Blindwrite and like the programs very much. Blindwrite does excellent backups for disk to disk. Just run AnyDVD behind and let it go. I also like CopyToDVD mainly because it will burn any file, I have sometime had a problem with Nero were it will get touchy on the structure of a file, especially if you have done the file with Clone and then wanted it burned later with Nero. Not CopyToDVD it doesn't care. It is a little slower than Nero sometimes because it will adjust for media, but it is a very good program. Just my input. You have a good weekend my friend :)

Edit: If you are using Blindwrite, make sure you check and make sure it has deleted the temporary file it puts on the HDD, sometimes it can be forgetful and you got to do this manually.

@arniebear, thanks my friend for the reminder about the deletion of files. I have Copy to Dvd and like it very much, haven't had any issue with Nero except that in the past the dl's were kind of sporatic in maintaining consistent perfection...I guess even at $2.00 a piece every burn counts and I would rather have a Coaster on dvd 5 rather than DVD9, but again this is a great hobby that I'm learning so much very fast and I'm always willing to give up to grow up, being risky is the only way we learn...oh no I guess I'm starting to ramble or preach. Hey, have a great day and thanks for your experience and knowledge.
