i have miss placed my manual and have gone to restart my laptop (easy note) but it stops when it gets to the command line Q:\PARTS\WSA000AD.01> can someone please tell me what to type after > so i can carry on with my restart

is your lap top stand alone or part of a network

would seem to indicate that it is trying to boot from a network drive
try typing dir /w or dir/w at the prompt the availble files on that drive should appear may that will jog your memory
