I am trying to play an avi movie file on my computer but get that message. How can I find out which codec I need as I have played 50 other movies with no problem...thanks...This is also the second file with the same error (brothers four)..thanks...ed

Download GSpot and analize the AVI it will tell you what codec is reqired post back if you cant locate the codec to download

I tried what you said and found that there is no voice,,, GSpot said it has ther proper codecs but error downloading and that the AC3 Filter is improperly registered. What can I do please..

download and install this it will repair and update you codecs

I need help. I dont know which codec I need for Windows Media Player 10. I downloaded DivX player 6.2 but everytime a play the video an add pops out then stops the video, HELP please!
