would you swap an unlocked nokia 6230 for a nokia 6680 locked to 3???

Can you unlock the 6680 yet or ever??????????????????

6680 is not unlockable right now remotely. Only the provider can do that.

I would stay with the 6230 till the 6680 is unlockable.
