Iv seen a list of ISOs that dont start up on v1.5
Will these eventually be cracked or will they be unable to start forever?

Noone knows man, but there are people trying you can try to if you wish join the ever growing community of backup crackers.
Just remember noone ever thought GTA backup would play until the mph gameloader.

Sony are making it more and more difficult with constant security updates in the firmware. They've now started hiding files in games so they cant be decrypted, but Im sure someone will figure it out soon enough.
That's the price you pay for staying at FW 1.5 but there's still approx 200 working games out there so you should be able to stay content for now, I know I am... :)
