some of my dvd after i burned them and i go watch it it likes skips or scrambles for a short time and some has a long time i use dvdfab decrypter and vobblanker and dvd shrink and it still pauses its like on a bad satellite reception. im only burning them on a 8x uses maxell cds at times memorex. what is the problem? and when i watch it without burning them first on the comp it plays without skipping
That usually is due to burning too fast, on poor quality media, having an out of date firmware for your burner.
Maxell are good, especially if made in Japan. Memorex- I would dump them. Make sure you have an up to date firmware and lower the burn speed to 4X.
@ShadowSi
This is usually caused by the media and or burn speed. Players can be picky.
Memorex I'd stay away from - even if they burn there can be playback issues like your describe. Maxell is good if made in Japan.
Try slowing it down to 4x to see if it helps.
Also make sure your drive's firmware is up to date.

@cyprusrom - faster than me today :0)

okay ill try to lower the rate how about the up to date firmware how would i do that? my DVD Shrink burns thru nero
I agree movies27. I've been using them for 2 years with excellent results. Word of warning. The new packaging on the Maxell 50 disk DVD-R cake box, you need a hammer and chisel to get into. Man, is it tough.
@ShadowSi
Use Nero Info Tool - see pic:
You can then check the drives manufacturer's site to see if there is a newer version or here:
