Can I get music onto my Xbox besides using CDs?

Yes you can,

To do so you are going to need a Soft modded Xbox and a knowledge of FTPing... For more detailed info on FTPing go here, http://teammodders.com/viewtopic.php?t=128,

1st) Follow the 2nd Tutorial in my sig to softmod your XBOX (if it isn't already softmodded)

2nd) Then you can download an XBOX program called Xbox MEDIA CENTER from here, http://www.xboxmediacenter.com/ & FTP (transfer) it to your C Drive from your PC. To learn about XBMC go here, http://www.xboxmediacenter.com/

3rd) Once you have all the XBMC files download, go here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/326125, for info on how to FTP it onto the XBOX

4th) Finally, you can FTP music files over to your XBOX from your PC... When you transfer music files over to the XBOX, be sure to transfer them under the E://EvoX/Music folder...

I use a softmod to ftp over with XBMC.

Does anyone know a way to use my pc to convert the files (Since my PC would be lightyears faster) to the XBox's native format and port them over to it so that I can play them in the games that support soundtrack feature?
