Will a premodded slimline PS2 bought in Canada (mail order) work in Ireland? I will have to buy a power supply which is external with the slimline models (I think) but is there any thing else?

as long as the TV you are on can play both PAL & NTSC it should work.
By premodded i assume you nought one with a modchip?
I know mine has no problems playing either format, i just have to change settings on my chip for some of them to play right.
Mine has a Force PAL & Force NTSC mode along with a Y-Position fix.
