no HDLoader after Sony repair

I recently sent my V1 PS2 to Sony for repair (Disc read error). I paid an extra $20 to have them repair MY unit and send it back versus a refurbished unit. I got it back and all games play perfectly...except my HDLoader disc, it will not boot. Either comes up Disc Read Error or "Please insert a valid PlayStation 2 Disc". Anyone else have this or know what I can do? I tried 2 different HDL discs

call them up and tell them the problem, and make them fix it.
