I heard that you cannot play back-ups onm PS2 unless you've got a boot disc or mod chip. But what if you play it on the emulator on the computer? Will it work?

What if I got a PS2 game and want to see if it works on my PC, should I: get DVD decrypter, burn the game to another DVD using ISO format and the game should work? And another question: what if I downloaded a PS2 game from you know Torrent program and should I do the same? (take a file and burn it on DVD through ISO and play on the computer?)

Thanks in advance, I am really confused, but if you are nice enought I will be able to understand :)

Not as of now the Emulator for the PS2 just isnt ready for full blown out gaming yet they just recently got in game with titles like silent hill which isnt a really hard title to run and that even runs sketchy sorry might as well buy Swap Magic for the PS2.....
