Hi, i was just wondering if upgrading and then downgrading repeatedly affect your psp??

i upgraded and downgraded about 10 times and didnt affect my psp , well i cant do that any more as my psp was robbed :/





finished series 2 :D

was v1.5 (got stolen)new ceramic white 2.6---> downgraded to 1.5 :D

There is actually a limit.. But its from like 1000-10000 or something.. I think it's to do with the flash wearing out or something since its been messed with so many times.. But i doubt anyone will even need to upgrade/downgrade more than even 100 times.. :p
This was just something I read at MPH a while back and remembered it.

I got a 2.5 as you can see from my bar in my sig! It's not so bad... a good web browser, i can use homebrew (thanks to GTA!) yet sometimes I do wish I had a lower one :). I live in Hope!

The reason was that i wanted to play gta, and then when i got bored play another game on my memory stick. So just want to be sure it wont affect it?..... i was also just messin around got GTA umd to work on my ver.1.5 using RunUMD.

Ive upgraded/downgraded about 50 times, nothing wrong with my psp.
If your run umd prog is working like mine then use it
or else you could try the new genesis umd launcher
or joevas method of setting "iso emulation mode" to none and running with mph gameloader (youll a firmware dump in the flash0 flash1 folders)

I was playing GTA but then it just paused after a couple of minutes. So how would i do joeva's method, is there a guide?Is this the easiest way of playing GTA UMD on a 1.5??
