While I was playing Midway Arcade Treasures 2(rental), when I loaded one of the games, the game said that the disc can't be read. I popped open the lid and closed it. The disc spun, but then stopped. Also, recently, the loud beep you hear when a game is being booted has extended from a 1/2 sec. to a full second. So what's wrong, laser, or game?

My console collection: Version 14A PlayStation 2(chipped), Version 7 PlayStation 2, PlayStation(both models), Wii, Gamecube, N64, Super NES(original from US and Japan and Mini), NES(front and top loader)Model 1 & 2 Genesis, Sega CD, Sega 32X, Atari 2600, Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast, Sega Master System(Model 1 and 2), Atari Flashback 1 & 2, FC Twin(2 in 1 NES/Super NES clone), GN Twin(2 in 1 NES/Genesis clone), Atari 7800, Intellivision II, TurboGrafx 16, GameBoy Color

Since it's a rental, I'd say it's the game.

The discs giving me errors that they can't be read only happened with Midway Arcade Treasures 2, BUT, the extended beep at the boot happens with EVERY game. Instead of of just doing "brrrr", it's now more like "brrrrrr".
