Sometime after changing my mind that I wasn't going to play a PSX game(V-Rally 2) when I was at the options(activated by Triangle), I removed the cardboard piece that was blocking the lid sensor over the On/Reset button, and changed the game for Ferrari F355 Challenge(PS2 DVD). When I put back the piece over the switch, the disc spun. Now, here comes the part that made me FREAK OUT! The disc was spinning at a very odd pace, sssssssllllllooooooowwwwwwllllly stopping. It was going at normal speed, then slowed down until it stopped spinning, AND THE LASER WAS STILL WORKING! It only did that once. What was that all about?

I actually rented F355 Challenge. But, this has never happened ever since I returned the game. Odd... And, my MOD interferes with nothing, it does the same thing as MagicKeys II and company.

yeah i know but if you opened her up and placed tape on the button below the lens then the tape may be loose but i read your post again and evrything seems ok cos the laser continues to move meaning it thinks the lid is down so i dono what is causing this. is your break pad possitioned right? mate if its not doing it anymore it was probably just because your not meant to switch games in between if just fcuks up game play plus your laser will refuse to read it untill the ps2 is restarted.

I NEVER opened up my PlayStation 2, and the break is firmly moved to the side. It read it after I removed the piece covering the sensor over the On/Reset button then placed it back again.
Tam, I think that sig will give you trouble as this can make you hack in other people's computer.
And, tam, I think what GregI wanted was to buy my Nintendo Entertainment System(which I still play). Sorry, not for sale.
