I just got a PSX PAL backup of V-Rally Championship Edition to work on my slim PlayStation 2, but it seems like the game doesn't support analog controls. I'm using the DualShock 2 controller. Could be that the game doesn't support the DualShock 2 analog mode. Maybe it only supports the DualShock original and Digital controllers. Could some European people here help me out?

V-Rally came out before the Dual Shock gamepad was introduced. games older than the gamepad don't support the analog feature.

So, I guess there is no way I can use my steering wheel with that. Looks like I have to use the DualShock 2 digital mode or buy the old digital controller.
By the way, when was V-Rally Championship Edition released and when did the original DualShock come out?

V-Rally came out in 1997.
Dual Shock was released in late 1997 in Japan, early 1998 Europe and USA.
