This is Probally simple and I did try a search but I don't really know what to search for. The problem I am having is dvd shrink, dvdfab, dvddecrypter (with anydvd or dvd43 running, dvd x copy or anything I have tryed cannot find the actual main movie. All they can find is preview, music vidoes, making of the movie, junk like that. dvd shrink shows a main movie but it turns out to be the making of the movie. This is mainly happening with newer movies. However I am having trouble with movies like stealth and kindom of heaven. Anyone have any idea what I might be doing wrong?

The decryption software isn't going to help you find the main title, it's purpose is for bypassing the copyright protection. You mentioned Shrink and DVDXCopy. Both have the function to preview selected titles. Shrink labels the main movie for you. Normally the movie is the largest file, if not the right one, then highlight and preview the other large files to see which you need. Large files gives you a starting spot to start checking in DVDXCopy. Once you find it, do what you need. XCopy has the Express which normally does the movie only for you. Now that you know you can do it, just check the file you think is supposed to be the main movie to insure it is if you have doubts.

I've previewed all files (the largest ones) and none of them are the main movie.

Then you're looking in the wrong place. That is unless they're releasing DVDs now without movies. That's why I said to use the preview function when in doubt. The movie if not the largest has to be a large file out of necessity. I have all the programs you're talking about and don't have a bit of trouble locating the main movie files.

So what you're saying is that you have a movie with no movie? What happens when you play it on your DVD player? Damnest thing I've heard all day, but it seems likely that some mistake that you are making is the cause.
Be sure that you are actually copying the movie disc and not the extras disc. If the "making of" is the largest track on this disc, it would make sense that this is the extras disc.

Jigen, you're right, this is one of the damnedest things I've heard. I didn't think to tell them to make sure it was the movie disk and not an extras. I often give the novices some credit. ;)

I feel so stupid. I can't belive I've done that. It is the extras disc. I'm an idiot but not a total idiot. I mean, I have burned 100's of movies with dvd x copy. I switched to DVD Shrink because 2 movies would not burn with xcopy. The movies burn fine but only if you have the disc in that has the actual movie on it. This is the first time I have tryed to use DVD Shrink, I have read several tutes on how to use it and extra little programs that can be used with it. I got confused and fustrated and didn't even look for the simplest answer, Which is usually the right answer. I have used AnyDVD and DVD Shrink and it works fine. I want to thank the people who very quickly offered help, and very sorry
