the Media ID of MCC makes it first class media! and Verbatim is not the only MCC disk around! Maxell has that media ID too!

If you can get the made in Japan FujiFilm discs you'd get Taiyo Yuden ... excellent stuff ... From what I saw in my trip to Best Buy, both the -R and +R were made in Taiwan 16x ... +R is ProDisc R05 and the -R is ProDisc F02 or S05 or FujiFilm 04 ... some people like the ProDisc media .. personally, I've never used their 16x or 8x .. I used their 4x and had bad luck with it, so I've stayed away ... I do like ProDisc CDs, however ...
