I have been reading through a bunch of threads and still have a couple questions. The only thing I am interested in is putting the NES and SNES and sega etc games on a psp. Is it possible to do this with a new psp? I'm not sure what version it would be now if purchased from a walmart or a eb games. Or do I have to buy an older one with 1.5 or 2.0? If it's possible I'd rather buy new. Also, how many of these emulators will fit on a psp?
Any help would be greatly appreciated....

I don't have one as of yet. Can you still get them new at the store with version 1.5 or 2.0? If I can find one that way, it would be better. Rather buy new. Or if it can be done now with a newer version, I'll do that.

yeh this can be done with a new psp which is over 2.0 but then you will require a gta UMD and the fanjita e-loader. you will probably get a 32mb card which can hold a few roms and emulators dont usually take too much space

hope i was some help, and if you require the loader for 1.5 they can be found at http://www.psp-hacks.com ( this site will also have the fanjita e-loader)

I'm sorry to sound ignorant.....What is a GTA UMD and the fanjita e-loader? Do these go on my pc? Is there a write up somwhere on how to do this with a newer version. I'd imagine if I bought a new one it would be over 2.0....
Thanks for the help.....

GTA is the game 'grand theft auto' and umd is the media that the psp plays UMD-universal media disk. Click here to put homebrew on a psp 2.01+, http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/300895
