Just recently acquired this digital camcorder, but a bit disappointed with the results.

When filming outside the colours are not as vibrant as I would have expecterd from a Sony. Also in sunlight, the picture is not as sharp and the image very bright, plus there is a lot of reflection off images from the sun.

I have made sure that the sun is at the back of me, and I have looked at the various settings in white balance and exposure which help a little.

However the picture still is not what I expected, anybody else had these problems, if yes how did you get round it. Or is it just simply a under par camcorder and I have to put up with it.
