my dvd burner worked excellent for a while and then i reformated to get windows pro instead of home and then bam doesnt work... i can still burn some movies but most others cannot be burned such as king kong... it burns and then completes but when played it stops half way through. same goes with flightplan i have been using dvd decrypter - vobblanker - nero recode. many others dont even make it to the burning process such as the log file i have from below. the log i have from below is The Village DVD it says burn process started and either stops at 0% or maybe even 3%. i think its a random thing and not a certain dvd issue or protection
i have a gateway laptop mx6425 w/ 100 gig 1 gig ram
here is my nero log.
