you did it...

I've tryed shrink,DVDD,DVDFD all stall out...

when i run a scan disk with Nero it shows two different sectors

I have not done this movie myself. There I said it right upfront.
I do know that its an old enough movie however that DVDDecrypter or DVDFab should have no problem.
You say it has a lot of scratches, I'd suggest a cleaning kit because if these programs work for (most)todays films still you shouldnt have the problems you do.

daman1,
The older movies tend to have scratches so you might have to keep trying. If I remeber correctly there was nothing special on the DVD to stop you from copying it. Try what Deadrum33 stated and see if that helps but if the scratches are bad then you will not be able to copy it correctly

I did this DVD way back when it first came out. What errors are you getting? Just a freezing/stallig?

Like Mike said, it might be the disc itself. It could be damaged. If it's in bad shape, try Decryptor File Mode or VOBB. Both have worked great for me with damaged discs.

the error with shrink is the CRC can't read, and the others
just stall out. so i'm thinking it might just be scatched disks

daman1 ,
Yes I did the movie when it came out a while back. If you got the CRC error code for this movie then it is the scratches. Just checked my old log for AnyDVD and I did not use that so I used DVDDecrypter to decrypt the movie

Like I said, DVDD or VOBB will get the job done with damaged discs.
