No video in TMPGEnc???

I am trying to encode an .avi file to mp2 so I can burn it to DVD. The .avi file pays fine. When I encode it, the resultant mp2 file only has an audio track and no video. Since the raw file plays fine, that means it isn't a codec problem. Even once I import the file into TMPGEnc and try to edit it before encodeing, I only get audio. So now what?
