If youi live in the States, Sam's Club carries 8x Verbatims for under $40 for 100 DVD's. They are mcc 003.

Is Liteon the only deck you can use the dvdrom program on?This seems like a very useful thing.

Well....I tried to use AnyDVD to rip Kong to my harddrive,but everytime I clicked on source,it hangs up and says program not responding.I guess I'm snake bit on this movie!

Someone with a heck of a lot more knowledge than me should come along soon -- just hang in there. I copied KK using AnyDVD & CloneDVD2. I use these 2 programs almost exclusively. I had a lot of problems burning when I first started and someone recommended these programs and I bought them (before the discount). Best $$$ I ever spent. Well, except for a couple of nights in Tokyo when I was in the Navy.:)

Tried it again this morning...same problem,I just notice when you browse for source,My computer is highlighted and my documents does not seem to want to drop.

Try using DVD Fab Decrypter(to decrypt), Vobblanker(to repair VOB errors), and ImgBurn or Nero(to burn).

Most of these are avaliable in the software section of afterdawn.com

Hey all!I fixed my AnyDVD problems by deleting Roxio drag to disc from my pc,now all is well.Now I've got to buckle down and learn how to use it correvtly.
