I've got the v14 ps2 slimline with tape and tissue mod and swap magic 3.6.I've also just burnt fifa 06 but it froze at the loading screen before the match.It loaded beautifully up until i picked sides and tried to advance to game.Then the next screen a loading bar appeared and just before it was 100 % completed...the game stuck right there with the music still playing in the background.Ive tried rebuilding the game but i keep getting a "not a valid ps2 disc" error on the swap magic load screen and i even tried burning over the original MDS file,from the original rip, and burning it onto a dvd-r disc.Neither procedures worked. I'm using tdk blanks and ive used all the speeds- 1x 2x and 4x- although the 2x copy came agonizingly close to 100% completion upon loading.(these speeds were only used to reburn the mds file from the original rip since all the games i've tried to rebuild keep getting a "not a valid ps2 disc" error.)
I'm really frustrated as to what could be causing this since the copies worked fine on my friend's modchip modded ps2.i dont think there are any dummy files.Anybody got suggestions?

I must say this swap magic thing doesnt compare to the modchips available as of now and the thought of going through this frustration for other games is enough to make me not sleep.lol.
