I can't get Xecuter 2.6 to flash with Xecuter Bios or EvoX Bios NEED HELP

I have tried over and over to get my V 1.0 xbox to flash but it will not work it says it is flashing and turns off then when i reboot same blue screen waiting to be flashed i have tried both banks, from what i understand i cannot ftp untill i have a dash installed but i do have a crossover cable and flash fxp so if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated

make sure you check at the protect/unprotect switch. set it to unprotect.

i followed the directions verbatim and it is the flash bios from the xecuter home page but i have also tried to use EvoX but my x box will not evern recognise the media and i am using verbatim DVD-R so it is quality media

im not sure its the one from team xecuter.com here are all the files i have... auto.installer.deluxe.v3.0.rar, EvolutionX build 3935.rar, EvolutionX1_8_458_iso.rar, XBox_Dashboards_Backups.zip, and i know how to use WinRAR so i did extract them most of these files i got from a link through your signature. so if that helps

So they are not bios. Go back to my page and download X2 5032 - 512k bios.

Did you make sure to rename your bios file to "bios.bin" without quotes before you burned it. The disc also has to be burned as an ISO and make sure you finalise it. I know you said you followed the tut verbatim but these are the things people seem to mess up on the most. You are using good media, I have never had a problem with verbatim on the thompson, or samsung drives, never had experience with the phillips though.

Yes bios.bin and they automatically changed to upper case like it says and yes it is a iso, any more suggestions

yes, you have to rename bios to bios.bin
it is old bios.
You should get Evox M8 or X2 5032

ok so i just flashed with EvoX M8 and it did the routine and now when i went to reboot it beeps then beeps again now there is nothing on the screen just black and my xbox is blinking red and green... What happened... this only happens on bank 1 which is the one i flashed bank 2 is back to flash v 3.0.1 screen

Because you have no dash.
Put the autoinstaller disk in dvd drive, it will load

You may burn it worng.
how big is the iso? I think it is over 700MB. you dont need dummy file.

well when i try to burn by itself Nero says you are trying to burn single image to empty compialtion so it auto moves me to a disc image setting... i dunno what to do now

if you downloaded it directly from their site once you extract it you will have a file folder with a bunch of .rar files in it and some other files. If so click on one of the .rar files and then select extract here. It will then extract it to that same folder and there sould be a .iso file in there. This is the only file you need to burn to disc. Nero should recognise it, and make sure the finalise box is checked. I'm not sure why they packed that auto-installer that way it is kind of confusing.
